Meet Shannon, or “Shanks”.
Shanks is our highly qualified carpenter and forman, and has spent his life on Sydney’s beautiful northern beaches and currently lives in Dee Why with his wife and two children. When Shanks is not on the tools, he is surfing, snowboarding or spending time with his family at the beach. Shanks has been a qualified carpenter for 20 years and has worked for several builders during this time. Shanks is a traditional craftsman and his experience shines through in the high quality of his trade, particularly in major structural builds. He is an honest and hard working tradesman with a great sense of humour.
Shannon joined the AAG family in 2017, feeling that the team was the right fit for him – particularly the friendly nature of the team and the easy-going nature of Adam. We feel lucky to have such a highly qualified and sought after tradesman on our team.
Fun fact: Shannon’s favourite animal is a turtle
Meet Lachlan, or Lachie
Lachie is our 2nd year apprentice, joining the AAG family at the beginning of 2017. Lachie is what AAG is all about; he is the kind of guy you want your daughter to date. Lachie has grown up on Sydney’s Northern Beaches and currently resides in North Curl Curl. Lachie enjoys surfing and snowboarding, and is always up for a good time. Lachie attributes the high quality of work produced by AAG, to the unique qualities each member of the team brings to the table. We look forward to watching Lachie grow and pursue his career in the industry.
Fun fact: At age 12, Lachy auditioned for Billy Elliot.
Campbell is the newest member of the AAG family, joining in 2018. Campbell is currently studying Construction Management at University of Western Sydney and brings a unique set of skills to AAG. Campbell lives on Scotland island and you will find him playing basketball when he is not on the books. Campbell is a hardworking and responsible first year, quick witted and mature beyond his years. Campbell is fearless when it comes to taking on new challenges and we have our fingers and toes crossed that we can hold on to Campbell for his whole apprenticeship and look forward to the years to come watching him grow.
Campbell values his time with AAG because of the team environment and the wide range of skills he is developing every day.
Fun Fact: Campbell believes that he could “probably” take on eminem in a rap battle

Callum put on his first nail bag when he joined the AAG team in 2014 as a first year apprentice. When Callum has put the nail bag down, you will find him 4wding, spearfishing, or enjoying a “cheeky” cocktail watching the sunset on the deck of The Newport (which he had part in renovating). Callum is a motivated and enthusiastic member of the AAG family, and has admirable attention to detail; evident in his high quality finishes. Callum chose to complete his entire apprenticeship with AAG because of the experience and opportunities that were presented to him from the first day.
We are thrilled to see Callum complete his apprenticeship with AAG and are honored to welcome him on to the team as a fully qualified carpenter.
Fun fact: Callum’s favourite movie is Titanic
